PJ’s Enchants Plugin FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I get my first custom enchantment?
Place any tool, weapon, or armor piece into a standard enchanting table and enchant it normally—custom enchantments roll just like vanilla ones. You'll see color-coded names that show you which enchantments are rare or common.
Can I combine two enchanted books to make a higher level?
Yes, put two enchanted books with the same enchantment into an anvil together, and they'll merge into a single book with a higher tier. You can then apply that upgraded book to your gear.
What's the difference between combining on an anvil and re-enchanting?
Re-enchanting at a table gives you random new enchantments, while combining on an anvil lets you deliberately upgrade a specific enchantment you already have to the next level.
Does Wings let me fly indefinitely?
Wings swaps your chestplate for an Elytra when you double-jump, giving you the same flight time as normal Elytra gliding—you'll still need to land or use fireworks to stay airborne.
Will my pets take damage from my area-of-effect enchantments?
No, the mod automatically protects tamed wolves and other friendly pets from your area damage abilities, so you can use explosive or wide-hitting enchantments safely in combat.
Can I use these enchantments in multiplayer or on a server?
Yes, this is a plugin that works on servers and in multiplayer worlds—all players will see and interact with the custom enchantments the same way.
Do custom enchantments work on horse armor and wolf armor?
Yes, you can enchant horse armor and wolf armor through the enchanting table just like regular armor, unlocking pet-specific powers like Werewolf for wolves.
What happens if I enchant the same item twice at the table?
Each enchantment roll is independent, so you might get new enchantments added to your item or duplicate ones—duplicates can then be combined on an anvil to level up.
Do I need to do anything special to use Forging, or does it work automatically?
Forging works automatically when you mine—if your tool has the enchantment, ore and other smeltable blocks will drop their smelted versions directly into your inventory.
Can I remove or swap out enchantments I don't want?
You can't remove individual enchantments, but you can re-enchant your item at the table to roll for different ones, or craft a fresh piece of gear and start over.
