Get Started with Your First Custom Enchantment

Using the Enchanting Table

Custom enchantments work just like vanilla ones. Place any tool, weapon, or armor piece into a standard enchanting table and spend experience levels to roll for enchantments. You'll see the same three random options appear, but now they include PJ's custom powers alongside vanilla enchantments.

Identifying Enchantment Rarity

The mod uses color-coded text to show how rare each enchantment is. Higher-tier enchantments appear less frequently and require more experience to unlock. Don't worry if you don't see the enchantment you want immediately—keep rolling or combine books on an anvil to build up your gear gradually.

Testing Your New Abilities

Once you've enchanted an item, equip it and experiment. Try jumping with a Wings chestplate, sprint across water with Waverider boots, or fire arrows with Ricochet to see how each power works in real situations. Different enchantments trigger in different ways—some activate automatically during combat, while others require specific actions like double-jumping or sprinting.
