Finding and Farming Pink Slimes

Locating Slime Spawns

Pink slimes spawn naturally in swamp biomes, just like regular slimes. Search for swamp areas at night or in dark caves where slimes can spawn. The bright pink color makes them much easier to spot than their green counterparts, even in dim lighting.

Farming Pink Slimes Efficiently

Create a dark chamber in or near a swamp to encourage spawning. Pink slimes will bounce around just like normal slimes—they're purely cosmetic. Build walls and floors to contain them, then use a weapon or tool to defeat them and collect slimeballs.

For larger operations, dig down to lower Y-levels in swamps where slimes naturally spawn more frequently. The pink coloring doesn't affect spawn rates or behavior; it's only a visual change.

Collecting Slimeballs

When you defeat a pink slime, it drops slimeballs that appear pink in your inventory. Smaller slimes drop fewer balls, while larger ones drop more. Collect these for crafting sticky pistons and slime blocks.
