Pink Slime Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Does this pack work on servers or only single player?
Resource packs are client-side only, so you can use Pink Slime on servers without needing anyone else to have it installed. Only you will see the pink slimes and blocks.
Will pink slimes still drop slimeballs when I kill them?
Yes, the drops are unchanged—only the appearance is recolored. Pink slimes still behave and drop items exactly like regular slimes.
Do sticky pistons still work the same way with the pink texture?
Completely—the pink texture is purely visual and doesn't affect any mechanics. Sticky pistons function identically to vanilla.
Can I use this pack with other resource packs at the same time?
Yes, but load order matters. If another pack also modifies slime textures, whichever pack is lower in your resource pack list will take priority.
Does the pink color show up on slimes in the Nether or only swamps?
The pack recolors all slime mobs and slime blocks everywhere in the game, regardless of biome or dimension.
Will this pack affect my game performance?
No, resource packs have minimal performance impact since they only change textures, not game logic or entity behavior.
Do I need to find slimes in a specific biome to see the pink texture?
Slimes spawn naturally in swamps and deep dark caves, but you'll see the pink texture anywhere slimes appear once the pack is active.
Does the pink slimeball texture show in crafting recipes?
Yes, the slimeball item displays pink in your inventory and in crafting menus, making it easy to spot when you're gathering materials.
What happens if I uninstall the pack—do my pink slime blocks turn back to green?
Yes, the blocks themselves don't change—only how they look. Removing the pack will make them appear green again, but the blocks remain in your world.
Does this pack work with Bedrock Edition or only Java Edition?
This pack is designed for Java Edition. Bedrock Edition uses a different resource pack format and is not compatible.
