Working with Stairs, Slabs, and Fences
The Pigmentum API Mod extends beyond flat surfaces. You can paint on irregular block shapes like stairs, slabs, and fences with full pixel precision. Each surface of these blocks can be painted independently, just like regular blocks.
Technique for Complex Shapes
Right-click the specific surface of the irregular block you want to paint. The mod recognizes each face—top, bottom, sides, and angled surfaces on stairs. Hold right-click and drag to paint across these surfaces smoothly.
Because these blocks have multiple angles and orientations, take time to understand which face you're targeting. Aim carefully at the exact surface you want to paint before starting.
Creative Possibilities
Stairs are excellent for creating directional artwork or patterns that follow the block's slope. Slabs let you paint on thinner surfaces for detailed work. Fences provide narrow vertical canvases for linear designs. Combining painted irregular blocks creates dynamic, three-dimensional pixel art installations throughout your base.
