Save and Display Your Paintings in Item Frames

Copying Artwork to Canvas Sheets

Once you've finished painting a block face, you can preserve it on a Canvas Sheet. Hold a Canvas Sheet in your hand and sneak (hold Shift) while right-clicking the painted block surface. The image transfers onto the sheet, and the sheet now contains your artwork.

Displaying Your Art

Place the Canvas Sheet inside an item frame to display it like a painting or map. The frame will show your pixel art at full detail. You can hang multiple frames around your base to create a gallery of your work.

Managing Your Artwork

Canvas Sheets are portable—you can carry them in your inventory, trade them, or store them. Each sheet holds one block face's worth of artwork. If you want to paint over a block surface again, simply create a new Canvas Sheet from your next design. The original artwork remains saved on the sheet in the item frame, preserving your creations even if you repaint the block.
