Pet Bat

The Pet Bat is the central feature of the mod, a loyal companion that fights alongside its owner. [1, 4, 5]

Appearance: A pet bat initially resembles a regular bat. Upon reaching its maximum level, it gains a distinctive enchanted visual effect, causing it to shine. [1, 2, 4, 5]

Taming: * Method: Right-click a wild bat with a Pumpkin Pie. [1, 4, 5] * Initial Naming: A tamed bat is assigned a random name upon acquisition. [1, 2, 4, 5]

Levels and Experience: Pet bats can achieve up to 6 levels, with each level increasing their maximum health and attack damage. [1, 4, 5] Experience is gained by dealing damage to any mob, regardless of whether the bat secures the kill. [1, 2, 4, 5]

Healing: Pet bats can be healed in two primary ways: * Direct Feeding: Drop a Pumpkin Pie on the ground near the bat, and it will consume it to restore health. [1, 2, 4, 5] * Crafting: Combine the Pet Bat item with a Pumpkin Pie in a crafting table. [1, 2, 4, 5]

Death and Revival: If a pet bat's health drops to zero, it does not die permanently but returns to its owner's inventory as an item. [1, 3, 4] * Teleportation: If a bat becomes stuck and its owner moves too far away, it will automatically teleport into the owner's inventory. [1, 3, 4, 5] * Vulnerabilities: Pet bats are not immune to fire, lava, or explosions. [1, 3, 4, 5] * Training: They do not take damage from zombies, making zombie spawners an effective and safe environment for training and leveling them. Pet Bat (Item)

When a pet bat is picked up or returns to the owner's inventory, it exists as an item. Holding this item in hand grants the player a Night Vision effect, which is continuous but may flicker.
