Set Up OutlinedOres to See Glowing Ores

Install Optifine First

OutlinedOres requires Optifine to display the glowing effect on ore blocks. Without it, the resource pack will load but ores won't glow or stand out from regular stone. Install Optifine for your Minecraft version before applying this pack.

Apply the Resource Pack

1. Open your Minecraft launcher and navigate to Resource Packs

2. Click Open Pack Folder to access your resource packs directory

3. Place the OutlinedOres pack file into this folder

4. Return to the launcher and select the pack from the available list

5. Move it to the Selected column on the right side

6. Launch the game

Verify the Effect Works

Once in-game, enter a dark cave or mine downward. Valuable ore blocks like diamonds, gold, iron, and emeralds should display bright glowing outlines that make them visible even in complete darkness. If you don't see glowing outlines, confirm Optifine is properly installed and enabled in your video settings.
