Our Story FTB Quest & Mod Theme Resource Pack FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I enable this resource pack in my world?
Open your world, go to Settings > Resource Packs, find Our Story FTB Quest & Mod Theme Resource Pack in the Available list, and move it to the Active list. The changes will apply immediately to all FTB mod menus.
Will this pack work if I'm using other resource packs?
Yes, but pack order matters. Place Our Story above any other packs that modify FTB menus so its textures take priority. If you don't see the restyled menus, move it higher in the Active list.
Does this pack change my quest progress or custom quests?
No—it only changes how the menus look. All your quest data, custom quest lines, and icons remain exactly the same; the pack just gives them a cleaner visual presentation.
I don't see the new menu style. What's wrong?
Make sure the pack is in your Active resource packs list and ranked above conflicting packs. If you're on a server, the server must also have the pack enabled for you to see the changes.
Does this work with French language settings?
Yes, the pack supports both English and French text without any extra setup needed.
Can I use this pack on a multiplayer server?
Yes, but it's a client-side resource pack, so you need to enable it locally. Other players don't need it installed to play together, but they won't see the restyled menus unless they add it themselves.
Does this pack affect FTB Quests performance?
No, resource packs only change visuals and have negligible performance impact. Your quest tracking and menu loading times remain the same.
Will custom quest icons and lines still show up?
Yes, all custom quest icons and special quest lines work normally with this pack—it only reskins the menu backgrounds and buttons around them.
What FTB mods does this pack actually restyle?
It updates menus for FTB Quests, FTB Teams, FTB Library, and the FTB Filter System. Other FTB mods' interfaces are not affected.
If I remove the pack, do I lose my quests?
No, removing a resource pack never affects your game data. Your quests and progress stay intact; you'll just see the original menu style again.
