Ore Sheep FAQ

It turns ordinary sheep into resource-producing mobs that eat stone and ores and grow valuable blocks on their backs instead of wool. You can then harvest those blocks.

You convert a regular sheep into an ore sheep. The mod is built around transforming ordinary sheep rather than finding a separate mob.

They eat rocks, stones, and ores. Once a sheep eats a specific ore, it starts growing that ore on its back.

The ore grows on the sheep's back and is ready for you to harvest. Harvesting gives you the block the sheep grew.

The mod is about growing ore on the sheep's back and harvesting it, not about killing the sheep for drops.

Yes, the ore a sheep grows depends on the specific ore it eats. Feeding it a different ore changes what it produces.
