What does the Natural Absorption Mod do?
It gives you permanent absorption health that regenerates over time, acting as a shield that is damaged before your regular health. It also adds an Absorption enchantment for armor and lets you replace armor's damage reduction with absorption through the config.

Yes. Your natural absorption health stacks with the absorption potion effect, and the mod changes absorption potions to increase your maximum natural absorption so that health regenerates with the rest of your shield.
How long until my absorption shield starts regenerating?
After you take damage, your shield is disrupted and won't regenerate for some time, by default 10 seconds. After that it regenerates fairly quickly, by default 1 heart per second.
Can I change how much absorption health I start with or how much I can earn?
Yes. A properties file generated in the config folder lets you change how much you start with, the max you can earn, how quickly it regenerates, and how much you lose on death.
Does dying reduce my maximum absorption health?
Yes. Dying will reduce your maximum absorption, so be careful when increasing it through infusion.
Does Natural Absorption have any dependencies or related mods?
The wiki lists Tconstruct as an optional dependency (3.8.3.39+).
