Stop False Positives from Legitimate Gameplay

Identify Problem Checks

1. Monitor your server logs and note which checks are flagging innocent players.

2. Common false positives occur with water movement, boat riding, elytra flight, or explosion knockback—the plugin should understand these, but if it doesn't, you can disable the offending check.

Disable a Specific Check

1. Join as an admin.

2. Type /mac check <name> off, replacing <name> with the check type (for example, movement, combat, or building).

3. The check stops running immediately without restarting the server.

4. Turn it back on with /mac check <name> on once you've adjusted your rules or confirmed the issue is resolved.

Recommended Approach

Start with loose settings and tighten them gradually. Watch logs to see which checks catch real players doing normal things. The plugin's built-in understanding of game mechanics helps, but every server is different. Disabling one check is safer than letting false positives frustrate your community.
