Do my players need to install this mod to join?
No. Mythical AC Plugin runs entirely on the server side, so regular players can join without downloading anything extra. Only server admins need to configure it.
How do I check if a specific player is cheating?
Use the command `/mac info ` to see their warning levels and what checks have flagged them. This shows you their violation history without kicking them immediately.
What should I do if the plugin is catching innocent players?
Start with loose rules and monitor the logs to identify which checks are causing false positives. Use `/mac check ` to disable specific anti-cheat rules while keeping others active.
How does X-ray protection work?
The plugin replaces real ores and chests with fake stone blocks on a cheater's screen, and fills their view with decoy ores and false cave tunnels. Real blocks only appear when the player physically walks next to them, so freecam hacks cannot bypass it.
Can I turn off X-ray cloaking without restarting the server?
Yes. Use `/mac obfuscation ` to toggle individual cloaking features while the server is running.
What happens when a player reaches too many warnings?
The plugin automatically kicks or bans them and teleports them back to their position before the violation occurred. Kick records are saved to the server files so they cannot reset warnings by logging out.
Does the plugin punish players for using elytra or boats?
No. The plugin understands normal game mechanics like elytra flight, boat speed, water movement, and explosions, so it will not flag legitimate gameplay.
How do I unban a player I think was falsely caught?
Use `/mac pardon ` to clear their kicks and remove any active bans.
Can I turn off individual anti-cheat checks?
Yes. Use `/mac check ` to enable or disable specific checks—such as movement, combat, or building detection—without restarting the server.
Why are players finding rare ores suspiciously fast?
Enable X-ray cloaking by using `/mac obfuscation ` to hide real ores behind fake blocks and confuse cheaters with decoy ores.
