MCA Reborn introduces a progression system where you can become the leader of a village using the Blueprint item.

Ranks

Rank Requirements Abilities
Peasant Default Basic interactions.
Merchant 20 Avg Hearts, Storage Building Can impose taxes.
Noble 40 Avg Hearts, Big House Can set birth limits.
Mayor 60 Avg Hearts, Town Hall Can set marriage limits and hire Guards.
Monarch 80 Avg Hearts, Castle/Palace Full control, can order executions of criminals.

Specialized Buildings

Using the Blueprint, you can designate areas as specific buildings to unlock benefits:

  • Inn: Attracts travelers and new potential villagers
  • Library: Increases tax revenue by 50%
  • Infirmary: Reduces the chance of zombie infection by 50%
  • Graveyard: Required for villagers to be buried properly upon death
  • Armory: Upgrades the equipment of village guards
