Mantle Is a Library, Not a Content Mod

Mantle is a shared library mod. It does not add blocks, items, mobs, or world generation of its own. Instead, it provides common code and utilities that other mods depend on to function.

If you installed Mantle by itself, you will not see anything new in your game. That is expected. Mantle exists to support other mods, and it only becomes visible in your gameplay through those mods.

Why You Might Have It Installed

You most likely have Mantle because another mod requires it as a dependency. When a mod lists Mantle as required, that mod uses Mantle's shared code to handle common tasks, which lets its developers avoid rewriting the same utilities. Removing Mantle while a dependent mod is installed will usually cause that mod to fail to load or crash.

Practical Notes

Keep Mantle installed alongside any mod that depends on it, and keep it on both client and server if the dependent mod is needed on both sides. You do not need to configure Mantle or interact with it directly.
