Mana and Artifice FAQ

Spells are created using the runescribing recipe type, which requires an Animated Quill and Arcanist's Ink. You inscribe glyphs onto Blank Glyphs, which can then be colored (Black, Blue, Brown, etc.) for different effects.

The Altar of Arcana is used for eldrin-altar recipes, one of the mod's primary crafting methods with 122 recipes. Place the required items on or around the altar to perform the ritual.

Chimerite Ore generates in the world and can be mined to obtain Chimerite Gem. Chimerite Gems can be crafted into Chimerite Blocks or used in manaweaving recipes.

Manaweaving is the mod's main crafting system with 520 recipes, performed by drawing patterns with a wand or staff. Different wands (Amethyst, Chimerite, Cerublossom, Aum, Blue Ice) may be required depending on the recipe.

Wands and staves come in variants such as Amethyst, Chimerite, Cerublossom, Aum, Blue Ice, and Angery Skull. They are crafted via standard crafting or manaweaving recipes and are used to cast spells and perform manaweaving.

Constructs are assembled from parts like Construct Armor Torsos (Wood, Stone, Iron, Gold, Diamond, Obsidian, Bone) and Axe Arms in matching materials. Use a Construct Gantry to assemble them, and a Construct Repair Kit to repair damaged constructs.

The Affinity Tinker Table is used to modify or tinker with your gear and affinities. Place it down and interact with it to access its interface.

The eldrin-altar recipe type has 122 recipes and is used for advanced crafting rituals. It is distinct from the Altar of Arcana and typically handles higher-tier recipes.

Arcane Ash and Animus Dust are crafting materials obtained through the mod's processing recipes, including arcane-furnace and component recipes. They are used as ingredients in further crafting.
