Servers and Destroying Magma Cores

Running it on a server

Magma Core works the same on a dedicated server as it does in singleplayer, but it must be installed on both sides. If the server has it and a client does not, or the reverse, dependent mods will fail to load or the connection will be rejected. Install it wherever the mods that require it are installed.

After destroying magma cores

Some dependent mods use magma cores as world structures or objectives that players can destroy. What happens next is defined by that mod, not by Magma Core itself, so the correct next step is to read the guide for the mod that added the core.

In general, destroying a core is a trigger rather than an ending. Expect the parent mod to react in some way, such as advancing a progression stage, spawning something, or unlocking a new area. If nothing appears to happen, confirm the parent mod is present and loaded, since Magma Core alone will not produce that follow-up content.
