Locate Keys While Playing

Once you've switched to the Translation (Keys) language mode, you can find the exact key for anything:

1. Navigate to the item, block, or menu element you want to identify

2. Hover over it or open its menu

3. Read the raw key displayed on screen

4. Write down or copy the key name

Item and block keys follow predictable patterns:

• Blocks typically start with block.minecraft. followed by the block name
• Items typically start with item.minecraft. followed by the item name
• Menu buttons and labels use longer key paths like gui. or chat.
