Enable Translation Keys to See Raw Item and Block Names
Activate the Translation Keys Language
The Key Language Pack Resource Pack works by adding new language options to your game. To see raw translation keys instead of normal text:
1. Open your Language & Unicode settings in the Options menu
2. Look for a language option called "Translation (Keys)" or similar
3. Select it and apply the change
4. Your entire interface will now display raw code keys instead of readable text
Understanding What You're Seeing
Every button, item name, and menu label will now show its internal translation key. For example, instead of seeing "Crafting Table," you'll see something like block.minecraft.crafting_table. This is the exact identifier the game uses to look up the proper name in different languages.
If you want to see keys with extra data attached, look for a second language option that includes arguments or parameters in parentheses. This shows you additional context the game passes along with each key.
Why This Matters
This is essential if you're creating resource packs, working on translations, or debugging text-related issues. You can now identify the exact key name you need to modify or replace.
