Job X Plugin FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I start using Job X Plugin?
Type /job in the chat window to open the job selection menu, then click on any profession that interests you. Once you join a job, you'll automatically earn money and experience points whenever you perform related activities like mining, farming, or fighting mobs.
What's the difference between the ten jobs?
Each job rewards different activities: Miner pays for breaking ores and stone, Hunter for defeating mobs, Farmer for crops, Woodcutter for logs, Digger for dirt/sand/gravel, Builder for placing blocks, Crafter for using the crafting grid, Trader for villager trades, Fisher for catching fish, and Explorer for traveling to new areas.
How often do I get paid?
The plugin automatically deposits earnings to your balance at set intervals configured by your server admin. You'll receive payouts passively while you work, and there's typically an hourly earnings cap to prevent economic inflation.
Can I work multiple jobs at once?
Yes—you can switch between jobs freely using the /job menu, and your progress in each profession is tracked separately. Switching jobs strategically can help you earn faster by matching your current activity to the most rewarding profession.
What are milestone rewards?
Every five job levels you rank up, you can claim a custom item reward package from that profession. Open your job menu to see your progress bar and claim rewards when you reach the next milestone.
How do boosters work?
Boosters are temporary multipliers that increase your money earnings, experience gain, or grant special effects like flight or haste for a limited time. Activate them when you want to maximize your income during an active grinding session.
How do I check the leaderboard?
Open the /job menu to view in-game leaderboards showing the highest-ranking players in each profession. The leaderboard displays daily, weekly, and monthly statistics so you can see how you rank against other server members.
What happens if I hit the earnings limit?
If your server has JobLimitEnabled, you'll stop earning money once you reach the hourly cap, but you can still gain experience points. The limit resets after the cooldown period (typically one hour) so you can earn again.
Why did my earnings cap reset?
Server admins can manually reset your hourly earnings limit using the /jobadmin resetlimit command if you need it cleared early. Contact your server administrator if you believe your limit was reset in error.
Do I need to do anything special to earn money, or is it automatic?
It's fully automatic—just perform activities related to your active job (mine ores, fight mobs, harvest crops, etc.) and the plugin tracks your actions and deposits earnings on its own schedule. You don't need to claim anything except for milestone rewards every five levels.
