Installation and Basic Use

Mode 13h MS DOSify! is a shader pack that transforms Minecraft's visuals into a retro MS-DOS 3D game aesthetic. Install it through your shader loader, then enable it in your video settings.

Once active, your world will display with a limited 256-color palette reminiscent of old monitors, and all blocks will appear more pixelated. Vegetation like trees and plants will render with a cartoonish, stylized appearance that differs from vanilla Minecraft.

This shader is designed to run on older or lower-end computers, making it a lightweight option if you experience performance issues with modern shader packs. The retro visual style is intentional—expect a nostalgic late-90s game look rather than enhanced realism.
