Open Shader Options

Access your shader pack settings through Video Settings > Shaders > Shader Options.

Locate the Reset Option

Look for a "Reset" or "Restore Defaults" button within the shader options menu. Some shader packs place this at the bottom of the settings list or in a dedicated "Advanced" section.

Reset Damage Overlay Settings

If individual setting resets are available, select the damage overlay color option and choose "Reset to Default." This will restore the standard red damage flash.

Alternatively, if only a full reset is available, confirm that you want to restore all shader settings to their original state.

Verify the Change

Apply the changes and test in-game by damaging a mob. You should see the familiar red flash return.

Manual Reset Option

If no reset button exists, check your shader pack's configuration files in your game directory. You can delete the custom settings file to force the shader to reload with default values. Consult your shader's documentation for the exact file location.
