Do I need Joban Client Mod for the PIDS displays to work?
Yes, Joban Client Mod is required for the board layouts to display correctly. Without it, the custom PIDS screens will not render properly in your world.
How do I place a PIDS display in my transit station?
Use the MTR 4 rail system to create a station, then place the custom PIDS block from the resource pack in your desired location. Configure it through the block's interface to select which display style and schedule information you want to show.
Why is my PIDS display showing blank text or no arrival times?
Check that your MTR 4 station and train schedules are properly configured, as the PIDS uses JavaScript scripts to pull real-time schedule data. Ensure Joban Client Mod is installed and that the display block has access to valid route information.
Which PIDS styles work best for European-themed transit servers?
The pack includes authentic options like Munich S-Bahn, Hamburg Subway, Berlin S-Bahn, Vienna Subway, London Bus indicators, Dutch train boards, and SBB Swiss displays, all modeled after real European networks.
Can I use this resource pack on a multiplayer server or only single-player worlds?
The pack works on both private worlds and multiplayer transit servers, as long as all players have the resource pack and required mods installed.
What happens if I don't configure the JavaScript schedule scripts correctly?
The display will not show accurate arrival times or route information. Follow the guide on configuring real-time schedule information to ensure your scripts are pulling data from the correct MTR 4 stations and routes.
Are there PIDS displays for North American transit systems?
Yes, the pack includes Washington WMATA screens and San Francisco BART displays, along with other regional styles suitable for North American transit builds.
How do I choose between different display styles for the same region?
Refer to the guide on choosing the right PIDS style for your region, which explains the differences between each available screen type and helps you match them to your station's aesthetic and era.
