Activate the Resource Pack

Connected textures for glass blocks are enabled by default once you load the Vanilla Connected Textures Resource Pack. Simply place it in your resource packs folder and activate it in your world or server settings. The pack will automatically apply connected texture rules to regular glass, stained glass panes, and tinted glass.

Verify the Effect

Place multiple glass or stained glass blocks adjacent to each other. You should notice that seams between blocks become less visible, and edges blend smoothly where blocks connect. This works in all directions—horizontally, vertically, and diagonally.

Layering with Other Packs

If you use other resource packs, position the Vanilla Connected Textures pack lower in your resource pack list (it will load first). This allows custom texture packs to override it where needed while preserving connected textures for blocks those packs don't modify. The lightweight nature of this pack means it rarely conflicts with popular building-focused resource packs.
