Look up crafting recipes without breaking immersion

Open a recipe in JEI

Hover over any item in your inventory or on the ground, then press your configured JEI key (default: R for recipes, U for uses). The recipe window opens with rustic, medieval styling that matches your Excalibur world.

Read the crafting grid

The restyled crafting menu shows:

• A clean, rustic grid layout for ingredient placement
• Medieval-themed borders and background textures
• Clear labels for each ingredient slot

Navigate multiple recipes

If an item has several crafting methods, scroll through recipes using the arrow buttons. Each recipe view maintains the medieval aesthetic, so you can reference complex multi-step crafts without seeing any vanilla grey screens. This keeps your immersion intact while planning builds or gathering materials.
