Crafting the Halo

Craft the Halo at a crafting table using its shaped recipe. Open the recipe book and search "Halo" to see the exact grid, then place the required ingredients in those slots. The Halo is one of the thirteen hats in Useful Hats, so it follows the same shaped crafting process as the rest.

Once crafted, the Halo appears in your inventory as a wearable hat item.

Wearing the Halo

Equip the Halo in your helmet armor slot. Open your inventory and place it in the head slot, or shift-click it from your hotbar. It sits above your character's head like a ring.

If you want a different color, use the dye recipe: combine the Halo with a dye at a crafting table. This recolors the Halo without consuming it, so you can change the look as often as you like.

Using it with other gear

Because the Halo occupies the helmet slot, it replaces any helmet you would normally wear there. Swap between the Halo and your armor helmet depending on whether you want the Halo's look or your armor's protection. Keep both in your inventory so you can switch quickly. The same slot rule applies to every hat in the mod, including the Wing Helmet and Ender Helmet.
