How to Get Started with Tungsten and Chorundum

Mining the Ores

Two ore blocks gate most of the mod's gear: Tungsten Ore and Chorundum Ore. Mine Tungsten Ore to drop Raw Tungsten, then smelt or blast it into Tungsten Ingot. Chorundum Ore drops Chorundum directly. Both ores feed the crafting, smelting, and blasting recipe types, so a furnace or blast furnace is enough to start.

Turning Ingots into Gear

Once you have Tungsten Ingot, you can craft the full tungsten set: Tungsten Helmet, Tungsten Chestplate, Tungsten Leggings, Tungsten Boots, Tungsten Sword, Tungsten Pickaxe, Tungsten Axe, Tungsten Shovel, Tungsten Hoe, Tungsten Shield, and Tungsten Hammer. Chorundum feeds the parallel chorundum set: Chorundum Helmet, Chorundum Chestplate, Chorundum Leggings, Chorundum Boots, Chorundum Sword, Chorundum Pickaxe, Chorundum Axe, Chorundum Shovel, Chorundum Hoe, and Chorundum Shield.

Warted Gear

Warted Helmet, Warted Chestplate, Warted Leggings, Warted Boots, and Warted Shield round out the armor options. Keep a stack of each ingot type banked before you commit to a full set, since the smithing_transform recipes also consume materials.
