Compatibility With Different Storage Types

Sophisticated Item Actions works with more than just vanilla chests. The mod supports:

• Vanilla blocks: Chests, barrels, and other standard storage
• Modded storage: Chests and containers from other mods (compatibility varies by mod)
• Mob inventories: Donkeys and other rideable creatures with inventory slots

Using Highlight and Deposit With Modded Storage

The Highlight, Deposit, and Restock features work the same way with modded blocks as they do with vanilla chests. Point at items, press your keys, and nearby compatible storage will respond.

Checking Mod Compatibility

If a storage block from another mod doesn't glow or respond to your key presses, it may not be compatible with this mod. Test with vanilla chests first to confirm your keybinds are working correctly, then try the modded storage.

Organizing Mixed Storage

When you have both vanilla and modded storage nearby, all compatible blocks will respond to your Highlight and Deposit commands at once, making it easy to manage a complex storage system.
