Base Blocks

Gloomy Tiles are the core building block of the Gloomy family. From Gloomy Tiles you can produce Gloomy Tile Slab, Gloomy Tile Stairs, Gloomy Tile Vertical Slab, and Gloomy Tile Wall using stonecutting. Each variant is a stonecutting recipe, so place Gloomy Tiles in a stonecutter to get the shape you need.

Decorative Upgrades

Chiseled Gloomy Tiles and Runed Gloomy Tiles are the decorative versions. Use Chiseled Gloomy Tiles for accent panels and Runed Gloomy Tiles for focal points in walls or floors. Both are produced through crafting or stonecutting from the base Gloomy Tiles.

Building Tips

Combine Gloomy Tile Slab and Gloomy Tile Vertical Slab for smooth corners. Gloomy Tile Stairs work for both interior and exterior steps. Gloomy Tile Wall is ideal for fencing off areas around Creeper Spore Sacks or Spore Bombs so that blast events stay contained.

For a cohesive build, layer Gloomy Tiles as the floor, Gloomy Tile Wall as the perimeter, and Runed Gloomy Tiles as a centerpiece. Chiseled Gloomy Tiles can frame doorways. All variants share the same stonecutting workflow, so a single stonecutter handles the entire set.
