How do I use the Quartz Elevator Mod?
Place a Quartz Elevator block on the floor, then place another matching elevator block directly above or below it in the same column. Stand on one and jump to go up, or sneak to go down to the next matching block.
How do I make a quartz elevator go up and down?
Jump while standing on an elevator block to travel upward to the next matching block in the column, and hold sneak to descend to the matching block below. The blocks must be vertically aligned in the same x/z position.
Why isnt my quartz elevator working?
The most common cause is that the two elevator blocks are not in the exact same column, or they are different types (Quartz vs Smooth Quartz) which do not link. Make sure both blocks share the same x and z coordinates and are the same variant.
Do quartz and smooth quartz elevators connect to each other?
No, a Quartz Elevator only links with other Quartz Elevators, and a Smooth Quartz Elevator only links with other Smooth Quartz Elevators. Mixing the two types in one column will break the connection.
