How to Craft and Use the Watering Can

The Watering Can speeds up crop growth. Fill it with water, then use it on farmland or crops.

Crafting the Watering Can

Craft a Watering Can using a crafting recipe that combines a Mesh with other materials. If you already have a Mesh, check your recipe book for the exact layout. The Reinforced Watering Can is the upgraded version and holds more water or lasts longer between refills.

Using It

1. Stand near water and use the Watering Can to fill it.

2. Aim at farmland or a growing crop and use the can.

3. The crop receives a growth tick, advancing its stage.

Refill the can whenever it runs dry. Keep a Reinforced Watering Can for large farms so you spend less time refilling.

Getting Mesh

Mesh is crafted from Grass Fiber. Grass Fiber comes from cutting grass with a Sickle or Scythe. Craft Grass Fiber into Grass Fiber Mesh, then combine that into Mesh. Reinforced Mesh is the upgraded tier used for the Reinforced Watering Can.

Bring a Sickle when gathering Grass Fiber so you collect it faster, and carry a stack of Mesh components if you plan to craft multiple cans.
