Check Startup Times After Loading

When the game finishes loading, open the Node Pulse Monitor and find the Startup Times or Initialization tab. Each mod is listed with its load time in milliseconds.

Sort by Duration

Mods are typically sorted by how long they took to initialize. Mods at the top consumed the most startup time. A mod taking significantly longer than others may have heavy initialization routines or large asset loading.

Identify Bottlenecks

If total startup time is unacceptable, focus on the slowest 3–5 mods. These are your primary optimization targets. Note their names for further investigation.

Cross-Check with Gameplay Impact

A slow startup doesn't always mean the mod lags during play. Use the CPU/GPU tabs during gameplay to see if slow-loading mods also consume resources while running. Some mods do heavy work once, then run efficiently.

Consider Load Order

If a mod depends on another, its startup time includes waiting for dependencies. Reordering mods (if your mod loader allows) may improve perceived startup speed, though total time remains the same.
