The /day command instantly sets the world time to daytime, making the sun appear at its peak and eliminating darkness.

To use /day:

1. Type /day in chat

2. The sky will brighten immediately

3. Hostile mobs will begin to despawn or burn (if exposed to sunlight)

The /night command sets the world time to nighttime, bringing darkness and spawning hostile mobs.

To use /night:

1. Type /night in chat

2. The sky will darken immediately

These commands override the natural day-night cycle temporarily
On multiplayer servers, only operators or players with permission can use these commands
The time will continue cycling naturally after you use the command
These are useful for photography, building in consistent lighting, or testing mob behavior
Server administrators may restrict these commands to prevent griefing or maintain immersion
