Goblins are not a one-time encounter. Each one holds a randomized offer list, and the real payoff comes from cycling through many of them rather than squeezing one dry. Here is how to turn them into a reliable resource source.

Setting Up a Trading Route

Instead of hunting randomly, build a lit path through your main mining area and record every goblin you pass. Since goblins do not despawn like hostile mobs once you have interacted with them, a goblin you found last session is usually still there. Keep a written or in-game note of coordinates. On each mining trip, walk the route and check every trader's current offers.

What to Stock and What to Sell

Carry a stack of emeralds plus bulk junk you accumulate while mining, such as cobblestone, raw ore, and spare food. Goblins frequently want common materials in quantity, so surplus mining loot is ideal currency. Buy anything that saves you time, such as rare drops you would otherwise grind for. Do not overpay for something you can craft in seconds. If a goblin's offers are bad, leave it and move on; there is no penalty for ignoring one, and a fresh goblin elsewhere may have exactly what you need.
