Frequently asked questions

What are the two types of grapes I can grow in the Gilded Grape Harvest Mod?
You can grow red and white grape cultivars on custom trellis networks throughout your vineyard.
How do I start growing grapes?
Acquire red or white grape cuttings from farmers, wandering traders, or village chests, then plant them on lower trellis blocks with prepared soil and compost.
What factors affect wine quality in this mod?
Wine quality depends on soil conditions, fermentation timing, barrel types, and cellar darkness, with scores ranging from 0 to 100 across six quality tiers.
What is the Vintner's Almanac used for?
The Vintner's Almanac allows you to inspect detailed tasting profiles, bottle ages, vintage years, and storage ratings for your wines.
What are the different types of aging vessels available?
Standard barrels offer balanced aging, toasted barrels speed up maturation for red wines, seasoned barrels provide slow gentle aging, and cellar casks hold up to eight bottles for bulk maturation.
How many bottles can wine storage racks hold?
Wine racks hold four visible bottles while continuing the aging process, while wine crates hold up to sixteen mixed bottles for more compact storage.
