How to Start Farming with Crop Sticks and Seeds

Place Crop Sticks First

Every crop in the mod grows on Crop Sticks. Craft them, then place them on farmland where you want a crop to grow. Without Crop Sticks the seeds have nothing to attach to.

Once the sticks are down, plant the matching seed on them:

• Apple Seeds, Banana Seeds, Cherry Seeds, Lemon Seeds, Mango Seeds, Olive Seeds, Orange Seeds, Pear Seeds for the tree-style leaves crops.
• Aubergine Seeds, Corn Seeds, Cucumber Seeds, Garlic Seeds, Grape Seeds, Lettuce Seeds, Mint Seeds, Onion Seeds, Pineapple Seeds, Tomato Seeds for ground crops.
• Nether Flower Seeds for the Nether Flower Crop.

Keep the Plot Safe

Place a Scarecrow in the field to protect the crops. Harvest the mature crop to get the produce plus more seeds to replant. Tree crops such as Apple Leaves, Avocado Leaves, Banana Leaves, Cherry Leaves, Lemon Leaves, Mango Leaves, Olive Leaves, Orange Leaves and Pear Leaves are grown from their matching seeds and yield the fruit named in the seed.

Start with one crop type, expand the row of Crop Sticks, and replant seeds from each harvest so the farm keeps producing without hunting for new seeds.
