How to Craft and Use a Hammock in Comforts

Craft the Hammock Cloth

Hammocks in Comforts are built from Hammock Cloth. There are sixteen colors of Hammock Cloth: Black, Blue, Brown, Cyan, Gray, Green, Light Blue, Light Gray, Lime, Magenta, Orange, Pink, Purple, Red, White, and Yellow. Each is made with a crafting_shaped recipe, so the ingredient layout in the grid matters. Craft the Hammock Cloth in the color you want first.

Place the Rope and Nail

To hang a hammock you need a Rope and Nail. Craft it using its own recipe, then place it where you want the hammock to hang. The Rope and Nail acts as the anchor point for the hammock.

Hang and use the Hammock

With the Rope and Nail placed, use your Hammock Cloth to create the hammock at that anchor. Once hung, the hammock lets you sleep or rest without placing a bed on the ground. This is useful in tight spaces, on walls, or anywhere a bed would be awkward. If you want a different color, craft a new Hammock Cloth and swap it in. Keep a Rope and Nail plus a Hammock Cloth in your kit so you can set up a rest spot anywhere you travel.
