Craft a Printer and place it. Craft Printed Page, Printed Pages, and Printed Book items, plus Floppy Disk for storing written files. The Printer consumes these page and book items as its output media. Place the Printer next to a Computer or Disk Drive so you can feed it content.

Writing and Printing

On a Computer, write your text to a file using the built-in edit program, then save it. Insert a Floppy Disk into a Disk Drive attached to the computer and copy the file onto the disk. Move the disk to the Printer's connected Disk Drive, or run the print command from the computer that shares the drive. The Printer pulls the file and produces a Printed Page or Printed Pages. Bind multiple Printed Pages into a Printed Book.

Distributing Copies

A Printed Book can be copied by printing the same source file again, producing another identical book. Keep the source file on a Floppy Disk so you can reprint without retyping. Use Printed Page for single sheets and Printed Pages when the document spans several sheets before binding. Store finished books in a chest next to the Printer to keep the output slot clear.
