Sheep

Mobs & entity

The sheep is a passive animal that appears naturally across 27 biomes, including Badlands, Bamboo Jungle, Birch Forest, and Cherry Grove. It does not attack players and can be found wandering in many different landscapes.

Players kill sheep to collect Raw Mutton, which is the drop it leaves behind. A spawn egg for the sheep also exists, allowing players to summon one directly.

Animations

6 of these were recorded inside the running game, so the movement is the animation Mojang shipped rather than an imitation of it. Transparent background, free to download.

Stats

Mojang publishes these numbers in the Bedrock behaviour pack (bedrock-samples); the Java edition keeps them in code, not in any data file. Most values match across editions, but not all — treat them as the Bedrock figures.
