Axolotl

Mobs & entity

The axolotl is a creature in Minecraft that belongs to the axolotl group. It spawns naturally in the Lush Caves biome, where players can come across it in the wild. A spawn egg for the axolotl also exists, which lets players place one directly into the world without having to find it.

Animations

5 of these were recorded inside the running game, so the movement is the animation Mojang shipped rather than an imitation of it. Transparent background, free to download.

Stats

Mojang publishes these numbers in the Bedrock behaviour pack (bedrock-samples); the Java edition keeps them in code, not in any data file. Most values match across editions, but not all — treat them as the Bedrock figures.
