Iron Jetpacks Mod FAQ

Jetpacks are made using a shaped crafting recipe that combines a Thruster, a Leather Strap, and a Capacitor. The specific tier of the Jetpack depends on which tier of Thruster and Capacitor you use.

Thrusters are produced via a shaped crafting recipe using a Coil (Basic, Advanced, Elite, or Ultimate) as the core component. The coil tier determines the Thruster tier.

Capacitors are made with a shaped crafting recipe that incorporates a Coil. Higher-tier coils yield higher-tier Capacitors.

Energy Cells are crafted using a shaped recipe that includes a Capacitor. They are used as an energy storage component.

Basic Coils are made using a shaped crafting recipe. They are the base component for higher-tier coils, thrusters, and capacitors.

Advanced Coils are crafted via a shaped recipe, typically upgrading from or incorporating a Basic Coil. They are used to make Advanced-tier Thrusters and Capacitors.

Elite Coils are produced with a shaped crafting recipe using an Advanced Coil as a base. They gate Elite-tier Jetpack components.

Ultimate Coils are made with a shaped crafting recipe using an Elite Coil. They are required for the highest-tier Thruster and Capacitor.

Leather Straps are made using a shaped crafting recipe. They are a required component in every Jetpack recipe.

Place the Jetpack in an Energy Cell or another energy-accepting block/item to transfer power into it. The Jetpack stores energy internally and drains it while flying.

Equip the Jetpack in your chest slot and use the mod's flight controls to ascend. Flight consumes stored energy from the Jetpack.

The Jetpack uses keybinds to toggle flight and ascend/descend. Check your controls menu for the assigned keys after equipping the Jetpack.
