Upgrades are modular components that add functionality to your backpack. In Minecraft, these are applied to the backpack using an Anvil.

Collection & Filtering

  • Pickup Upgrade: Automatically pulls items picked up by the player into the backpack. The Advanced version offers more filter slots.
  • Filter Upgrade: Allows you to whitelist or blacklist specific items. Available in Basic, Advanced, and Fuzzy (ignores metadata/durability) variants.
  • Void Upgrade: Automatically deletes items that match the filter, preventing your inventory from filling with junk like cobblestone.

Item Manipulation

  • Compacting Upgrade: Automatically crafts items into their block forms (e.g., Redstone to Redstone Blocks) when picked up. Available in 2x2 and 3x3 variants.
  • Decompressing Upgrade: The inverse of compacting; turns blocks back into their base components.
  • Restock Upgrade: Automatically refills stacks in your hotbar from the backpack's inventory.
  • Resupply Upgrade: Pulls items from nearby chests into the backpack to keep your supplies topped off.
  • Quick Deposit: Allows you to shift-right-click a chest to instantly dump the backpack's contents into it.

Utility & Logistics

  • Nesting Upgrade: Allows you to place backpacks inside other backpacks while maintaining their functionality.
  • Depth Upgrade: Enables upgrades in nested backpacks to function even if the parent backpack is the one equipped.
  • Eternity Upgrade: Ensures the backpack and its contents are kept in your inventory upon death (Soulbound).
  • Button Upgrade: Adds convenient buttons to the GUI for sorting and moving items between the backpack and player inventory.
  • Damage Bar Upgrade: Adds a durability-style bar under the backpack icon to visually indicate how full it is.
  • Latch Upgrade: Locks the backpack so only the owner can open it.
