Snes' Backpacks FAQ

It adds four backpack tiers: leather, copper, iron, and diamond. It also adds a pouch item with a leather and copper tier.

Right-click the backpack to open its main storage inventory. Hold Shift and right-click to open the alternate inventory for upgrades.

Press the 'B' key by default to equip a backpack, and it will appear on your character's back. Press the 'R' key by default to open the equipped backpack.

In newer versions, apply upgrades to your backpack by using an Anvil.

Craft a Basic Backpack with 8 pieces of leather and a chest.

The Eternity upgrade lets you keep your backpack and its contents when you die. It only works one time per upgrade, so you need a new one after each death.

The compression upgrade crafts items in a 3 by 3 grid when they are picked up, such as turning 9 redstone into a redstone block. The small compression upgrade uses a 2 by 2 grid, and the decompression upgrade does the reverse.

The nesting upgrade allows you to store backpacks within backpacks, letting you build up a very large inventory capacity.

The button upgrade adds 4 buttons to the main inventory for sorting items and moving items between your inventory, hotbar, and backpack. It also adds buttons to clear each row of the configurable inventory with one click.

The mod supports Minecraft 1.20.1 and uses the Forge loader.
