How Music Delay Remover Works

Removing the Silence Between Songs

In vanilla Minecraft, the ambient soundtrack does not loop continuously. After a track finishes, the game waits through a long cooldown before it is allowed to pick another song. That gap is what players usually notice as minutes of dead silence while mining, building, or travelling.

Music Delay Remover (also called Infinite Music) targets that cooldown directly. It shortens the waiting period so the next vanilla track begins almost immediately after the previous one ends, keeping the original soundtrack playing back to back.

A few things worth knowing:

  • It only changes the timing between songs. The music itself is untouched, so no custom audio files or resource packs are needed.
  • It runs entirely on your client. You can use it in singleplayer or on any multiplayer server without the server installing anything.
  • It does not modify world data, so you can add or remove it at any time without affecting your saves.

If you want uninterrupted vanilla music, this is the whole point of the mod.
