Troubleshooting Animation Issues

Blocks Not Animating

If certain blocks appear static when they should animate, check these common issues:

Resource pack order: Ensure High on Animations is positioned above other resource packs in your load order. Packs loaded after it may override its textures.

Texture settings: Verify your texture filtering is set to default or linear in video settings. Some extreme settings can interfere with animated texture display.

Block state: Some blocks only animate under specific conditions. Furnaces animate only when actively smelting—unlit furnaces remain static. Torches animate when placed, not in your inventory.

Performance Concerns

Animations should run smoothly on most systems. If you experience lag:

• Reduce other resource packs or mods that modify textures
• Lower your render distance temporarily to test if animations are the cause
• Check that your GPU drivers are current

Compatibility

High on Animations works alongside most other packs. If conflicts occur, try loading it last in your resource pack list. The pack is designed for vanilla Minecraft and doesn't require specific mods to function.
