How to Survive: Strategy in Grotesque Steve

Surviving the early game requires extreme caution. Follow these rules to stay alive:

1. Control the Light: Grotesque Steve spawns in low light. Torch your base and the surrounding area extensively.
2. Listen Carefully: The mod adds eerie ambient sounds. If the environment goes quiet or you hear unnatural footsteps, he is near.
3. Never Stare: If you see him in Stage 1 (slow walk), break line of sight and retreat. Staring or approaching triggers his sprint.
4. Build Defensively: Fences and walls are your best friends. Ensure your base has no dark corners where he could spawn inside.
5. Sleep Early: If you do not have the gear to fight, sleep as soon as the sun sets to prevent him from spawning entirely.
