Overview
Grotesque Steve is a small content mod built around a cast of strange mobs and the odd items they leave behind. The wiki lists spawn eggs for several of them, including Grotesque Steve, Grotesque Prime, Death Banjo, Worm, and a Banana variant, so the fastest way to see the mod is to spawn each one and watch how it behaves.
First Steps
Start with the 
Manual and 
Tester items, which the wiki groups under processes and items. The Manual is your in-game reference, and the Tester is used to check or trigger mod mechanics rather than to craft anything. From there, explore the item list: brushes in many colors, shirts and costumes, scrolls, music discs, and the 
Magic Capsule in both empty and filled forms.
What to Expect
This is not a tech or progression mod. There is no long crafting tree to climb. Instead you collect themed items, interact with mobs, and use tools like the 
Wrench, 
Magnet, and 
Scissors on the world around you. Treat it as a sandbox of curiosities.
