Extra Origins Mod FAQ

It is an add-on for the Origins mod that adds more origins and related gameplay content, expanding player race and ability choices. It requires the Origins mod and Fabric API.

The mod adds origins including Floran, Truffle, Inchling, Piglin, and Nucleon. Each has its own abilities and drawbacks.

Floran can grow plants at the cost of hunger, gain strength when exposed to water, and are satiated by sunlight. They take double fire damage and can only consume honey bottles.

Truffle can switch between Magic Spores: Red Cap boosts offense, Green Cap boosts defense, and Blue Cap boosts mobility. It can turn soil into mycelium at the cost of hunger and gains bonuses when standing on mycelium, but its food decomposes before consumption, nullifying status effects.

Inchling is significantly smaller than a human, immune to thorns and velocity-based damage, can climb any wall, consumes less food, and can ride other mobs and players. It also has half as much health.

Piglin deals extra damage with golden tools, has additional protection from golden armor, and deals 75% more damage with crossbows. Piglins do not attack unless provoked, but Brutes still attack on sight.

Outside of the Nether, the Piglin zombifies, becoming undead and immune to fire but weaker. Eating golden food negates this effect for a while.

Nucleon has 3 random powers, each of which will decay into a new power after a certain amount of time.

The Modrinth page lists Fabric and Quilt, with Minecraft versions 1.19.2, 1.19.3, 1.19.4, 1.20.1, 1.20.2, and 1.21.1. The wiki lists Fabric for Minecraft ~1.21.1, for client and server.
