Highlight Only Valuable Items and Hide Junk
Set Up Your Item Filter
The mod's filtering system lets you control exactly which dropped items glow, so you're not distracted by worthless clutter on the ground.
How to Configure Filters
Access the mod's configuration menu through your settings. You'll find a list of all items in the game that can be filtered. Items you add to the filter will NOT be highlighted when dropped, helping you focus on what matters.
Common items players ignore:
- Rotten flesh from zombie drops
- Bones and string from skeleton farms
- Dirt and gravel from mining
- Cobblestone from early-game mining
- Dull ores you're not currently collecting
Tips for Effective Filtering
Start by filtering items you never pick up. As you play, you'll discover which drops clutter your view. Adjust your filter list regularly—what's junk during early game might become valuable later.
You can also temporarily toggle highlighting on and off with the O key if you need to see all drops without reconfiguring filters. This is useful when you're specifically looking for something common that you normally ignore.
