About Drip Sounds

Drip Sounds is a small client-side mod that adds audio to falling droplets. In vanilla, water and lava drops from pointed dripstone make no sound when they land. This mod fills that gap: water drips produce a gentle plink, while lava drips give off a soft sizzle.

Because it runs entirely on the client, you can join any server without installing anything on the server side. The mod does not change dripstone mechanics or block behavior in any way; it only adds sound.

The volume of these sounds follows your ambient sound volume slider, so you can tune or mute them through your normal audio settings. This makes it easy to keep caves atmospheric without disturbing other players or your own preferences.

If you enjoy the ambience of underground caves, this mod is a lightweight way to make dripstone formations feel more alive.
